The Tree of Life - The 140
foot icon of Disney's Animal Kingdom. Just a tree, huh? Oh no. Carved into the
huge trunk, massive roots and high branches are over 325 exquisitely carved
animals. You have to see them for yourself to realise just how impressive this
is. Of course, this is Disney, and the tree is, unbelievably, inorganic. The
tree is an Imagineer's masterpiece. To make up for the lack of life in the tree
itself, all around it is the Tree of Life Garden. Oh, and inside the tree is a
430 seat theater showing " It's Tough To Be A Bug!" . So, you see - not just a
tree.

The Safari Village Trails
( which used to be known as The Tree of Life Garden) - Are a myriad of
pathways, scattered around the sprawling root area of theTree of Life, and
chock full of fascinating wildlife. In an open landscaped setting you'll see
with your own eyes otters, flamingos, tamarinds, lemurs, tortoises, vividly
colored ducks, cranes, cockatoos, storks, capybaras and kangaroos. I could go
on, but I'm sure you get the picture!

It's Tough To Be A Bug! -
That's the name of Disney's latest 3-D experience. Technologically streets
ahead of " Honey I Shrunk The Audience" , with heaps more special effects the
Muppet*Vision 3-D this is easily the best Disney 3-D attraction ever. And just
to be sure that we're impressed, they built it inside the trunk and under the
root system of The Tree of Life. This show itself gives guests a real funny
view of what life is like from a bug's perspective. I want to say so much more,
but I can't spoil the experience! Arachnophobics needn't worry - nothing in
here is real. The bugs are most definitely Disney bugs, with smiley faces and
colorful shells. You'll love it.
