Matterhorn
Bobsleds - Disneyland's first roller coaster. A bit of a
bone-shaker, but a great attraction set within a 1/100th
scale replica of the Matterhorn. Every Disneyland fan loves this
piece of history (there's actually a secret basketball pitch right
inside - not that we'll ever get to see it!)

Dumbo the
Flying Elephant - There's one in every Disney Park. This one's no
exception and motion-sickness is the order of the day for me on this
one. I am particularly weak and feeble though......! Seems thousands
of six and seven year olds have stronger stomachs than me.

Peter Pan's
Flight - It's not possible to avoid loving this camp flight over
London to Never-land. It's a dark ride with a difference as you sail
through the sky in a ship. There'll be a long queue, but do it
anyway!

Alice in
Wonderland - Journey on a twisty-turny ride through Alice's
Wonderland. A fab Disney dark ride, this time you'll sit inside a
caterpillar.
Snow White's
Scary Adventures - Classic dark ride, great for kids from 2 to 92.
Watch out for the Evil Queen! It's fabulous, but so much
ultra-violet light that you'll need to have used that dandruff
shampoo. (Great place to check out your ultra-violet park re-entry
handstamp if you have one).

Pinocchio's
Daring Journey - A dark ride through the story of Pinocchio, fab for
small kids. More UV lights, flourescent models and cut-outs.
Mr. Toad's
Wild Ride - It's a classic dark ride, but a little faster and wilder
than the others. Under threat of closure at the moment, let's hope
they have a re-think.

Storybook Land
Canal Boats - Take a relaxing boat ride through a showcase of
classic Disney movies from Snow White to Aladdin. One of Walt's
original attractions, but it's been updated many times over the
years to take in most of the modern feature-length cartoons.
Casey Jr.
Circus Train - Roller coaster especially for younger kids who don't
reach the minimum height for Big Thunder Mountain. Moms and Dads
grab that camera, you're bound to want a picture of your offspring
on the 'little train that could'.
King Arthur
Carrousel - The centre-piece of Fantasyland a fabulous hand-painted
carrousel. Even if you don't want to ride, just stop by and listen
to the music.
| .. |
Fantasyland
Theatre - Animation steps live onto the stage in the current show
here " Animazement" .
" it's a
small world" - A Classic Disney attraction with animatronic
children from all over the globe. Even real young kids love this
one. Be warned, when you've long forgotten about the ride, the tune
will still be in your head. If you're visiting at Christmas, Disney
sometimes go hard to work at sprinkling Christmas pixie-dust all
over this attraction - you have to see it to believe it!

The Mad Tea
Party - Sit in one of the mad hatter's tea cups, and spin around
until you're nearly unconscious. NEVER AGAIN!
Of course, if unconscious isn't far enough for you, spin that wheel
in the middle of the cup and head towards comatose. (I'm a wimp, but
you might love it).
