Adventure
Isle - " Come and explore secret caves, tunnels,
waterfalls and bridges" . This is great, but keep younger
kids in sight at all times. More children get lost here than in any
other part of the park! (Of course, if they've been driving you
crazy all day......).

Indiana
Jones et le Temple du Péril (Indiana
Jones and the Temple of Doom) - " A high
speed thrill adventure through an archaeological excavation" .
Well, the queuing area runs through an excavation site. And
talking of queues, if there is one, you might decide not to bother
waiting in line for an hour just to ride for less than 2 minutes.
The temple area looks impressive, and the ride is very fast with a
360° loop. This ride can be a little jerky and uncomfortable,
but if you're fit, taller than 1.4 metres and there's no line,
enjoy!

Le
Cabane des Robinson (The Swiss Family
Treehouse) - " Visit the tree-top home of the
shipwrecked Swiss Family Robinson" . I think that this must
be the tallest and steepest of the Disney Swiss Family Treehouses.
The view from the top is fantastic, so don't forget your camera. An
asthma pump might be useful too.

Le
Passage Enchanté d'Aladdin (Aladdin's
Enchanted Passage) - " A story tableaux of the
Aladdin tale" . Call me sad, but I love this. It's cool and
dark and a great attraction great for really young kids too. There's
rarely a queue (except for those busy Summer weekends) and you
wander through the passageways at your own pace. Along the way are
some great looking animatronic tableaux, done the way only Disney
know how.

Pirates of the
Caribbean - " A swashbuckling voyage to the Spanish Main
with fun-loving pirates" . If you've enoyed any of the other
parks' Pirates of the Caribbean attractions, then you're in for a
great surprise. This if the biggest of 'em all! The story unfolds in
its' proper order (unlike in Florida, California or Tokyo), and is
told in full and features a dramatic 'sea storm' section. The 'Town
on Fire' scene alone is worth the wait! (This attraction is a fast
loader and the lines move faster than you might expect). Once your
in your boat, the journey lasts for 10 and a half minutes, that
should tell you something about all the extras. You'll love it.

SHOPS
- The Indiana Jones Adventure
Outpost - Gifts and souvenirs based on the Indy movies.
- Adventureland Bazar - A
little cluster of stores are in here. In the main bazar you can
buy Oriental pastries and sweets, in " Les Trésors
de Schéhérazade" you'll find 'clothing
and artifacts from the Indies' (I've travelled the World, but
I've never found 'the Indies'...am I looking in the wrong
place?!), and " La Reine des Serpents" is a tea
room that also sells Oriental pastries.
- La Girafe Curieuse - Nature
and Winnie-the-Pooh themed goodies.
- Le Coffre du Capitaine -
Pirate and sailor themed souvenirs.

- The Blue Lagoon Restaurant -
Now probably Disneyland Paris's best restaurant (taken over from
Walt's, which now leaves a little to be desired). Full table
service featuring a Caribbean/Creole type menu with lots of
fish, lobster and spicey/fruity stuff. The restaurant is
situated actually inside the Pirates of the Carribean
attraction, so the place has the perfect atmosphere of
tropical/jungle/rainforest-ness. You will need to book in
advance but it's worth the pre-planning. very highly
recommended.
- Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost
- Counter service pizza, salad, and beverages. Often closed
during the winter months.
- Hakuna Matata Restaurant - A
nice attempt at the exotic. In Paris, that's obviously appears
to be Kebabs and couscous!
- Café de la Brousse -
Counter service snacks and beverages.
- Captain Hook's Galley - Take-away
food from a fabulous ship. (Click
here for a picture.)
