Arcade
de Jeux Video - This is just a video game arcade, I still
don't think these belong in the Parks, but who am I to argue?!
|
|
 |
|
Le
Visionarium - This a great 360° cinema where you travel the
world with Jules Verne and the Timekeeper, an animatronic character
who narrates you through the adventure. (Use the headphones for
multi-language narration including English). This an attraction
where you stand all the way through - so don't think this'll be a
break for your tired legs!

Orbitron
~ 'Machines Volantes' - A kind of sci-fi " Dumbo"
attraction. An uppy-downy roundy-roundy ride. Sit in your pod either
alone or with a waife-like companion because the person in front
sits on the legs of the person behind - you've been warned!

 |
|
Autopia
- " Futuristic cars to drive" , or so the guide map
says. Actually these are fun, fairly slow moving cars over which you
have no steering control because the car is on a track. Still fun
though, even for younger kids. This attraction is often closed in
the winter, and it's worth remembering that this is an outside
attraction so you're exposed to the elements whatever (I got
sun-burned on this one!).

Les
Mystères du Nautilus - This is a walk-through
reconstruction of Captain Nemo's submarine from 20,000 Leagues Under
the Sea. It's not particularly exciting, but if there's no line,
it's OK. There a quite a few steps into and out of the attraction.
If there is a line, it's outside with no shade from the sun or the
rain, so take care.

Space
Mountain - De la Terre à la Lune (Mont de l'Espace) - Well,
what can be said about the best Disney attraction in the world? Get
the low down by clicking on the info icon to the right. Whether you
click or not, remember that you cannot visit Disneyland Paris and
miss this attraction. If you have to wait in line for 90 minutes -
do it! Go on, click on that icon!

Videopolis
- This is a huge inside stage/café area where some of the
parks' greatest stage shows take place. The show at the moment is " Disney
Classics: The Music and The Magic" . Try not to miss it. For
more information about the show, follow the " Shows &
Parades" link, either from here or from the Disneyland Paris
Main Page on this site. Videopolis has Café Hyperion, a
counter service burger restaurant, so you can eat while you watch.
Time you lunch to coincide with show time, but get there about 45
minutes early for the best seats (if you're eating, the seats with
tables at stage left are the best, but there's plenty of room
further away). If you're not eating, you can sit down in the
auditorium for a great view.

Star
Tours - " High-action space adventure from Disney and George
Lucas" says the map and the map doesn't lie. Other than being
in French, it's no different to the other Star Tours attractions in
the the other parks. A high speed simulated space warp. Very highly
recommended, as are the computer games (refreshingly not in an
arcade style) in L'Astroport services Interstallaires which you'll
walk through as you exit the attraction.

SHOPS
- Constellations
- Disney character toys and clothes.
- Star Traders -
Sci-fi themed goodies however, the shop is becoming less and
less themed and will no doubt soon be just like all the other
shops.

Restaurants
& Refreshments
- Buzz
Lightyear's Pizza Planet Restaurant - Pizzas and pizza burgers.
- Hyperion/Videopolis
- Burgers and salads, counter service with plenty of seating and
a great show if you've timed it right!
