Davy Crockett Ranch Reception A Davy Crockett Ranch Cabin

The Davy Crockett Ranch

I love this place. One of my all time favourite Disney weekends was here. The only down side to staying here is that you need a car it's a ten minute drive to the park, one exit along the motorway. However, that's also a plus point, because you're away from the hustle and bustle of the Park and the resort hotels in a quiet shaded woodland area. The accommodation is in self-catering rustic log cabins. But there pretty luxurious with their TV's, microwaves, refridgerators, telephones etc. Costing the same as the Santa Fe, but about a hundred times better, this is the place to be if you're on a budget (or even if you're not!)

  • Facilities: 498 Cabins for four to six people (the cabins are not really suitable for differently-abled people with wheelchairs) and a campsite with 97 separate tent bays (you can rent a tent or tee-pee from Disney!)
  • Cabins have bathroom, bedroom, lounge, kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, tv, telephone outdoor barbecue and eating area and full housekeeping services.
  • There are shower and laundry facilities for those in tents (guests in cabins can use the laundry facilities too).
  • Blue Springs Pool (The best pool in the resort with great slides and whirlpools etc.)
  • Tennis Courts
  • Lots of outdoor activities including archery, mountain-biking, jogging trails and horseback riding.
  • Davy's Farm (childrens playground, petting farm and pony rides)
  • Arcade Games Room
  • Bowie's Bike Barn for cycle and mini-car hire.
  • Restaurant: Crockett's Tavern.
  • Shop: Alomo Trading Post. The shop sell all the Disney Gift stuff plus basic food and provisions.

Rates for a Classic Package start at just €242.00 per adult. (based on 2 adults sharing a room) for the main Hotel . You can call the Camp Direct on +33 1 60456900 or fax on +33 1 60456933.

Park Secret It is not always wise to call the dedicated booking service " Disneyland Direct" in the UK, as oftentimes rather than buying a package, you should book your hotel accommodation and buy your passes separately as it usually works out much cheaper. If you do want to call them to compare prices, their number is +44 0990 03 03 03 (or 0990 03 03 03 from within the UK). They are very reluctant to give out 'accommodation only' prices, so tell them that you have a " Fantasia" Annual Pass and won't need to pay for passes. That should do the trick. If you do have problems (I almost always have!) simply call the Hotel Directly on the number given above. Most telephone and reception staff speak English fluently.
