SHOW
"
Winnie the Pooh and Friends too" - On seleceted high season days
only at Le Theatre du Chateau in Fantasyland. " We can find all of
Christopher Robin's imaginery universe in the setting of 'One Hundred Acre
Wood' . Through the show, we relive the thousand and one adventures of Winnie
the Pooh, surrounded by all his friends, in search of his favourite treat,
honey."
This is a cute 25 minute show presented 5 times a day during the
high season.

SHOW
"
Tinkerbelle's Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks" - During the Summer High
Season only " To conclude this day, Tinkerbell will fly high in the sky
above the castle to magically light up the fireworks of Disneyland Paris" .
Not the long tTinkerbell flight of Walt Disney World, but a twirly flight
around the castle's main spire. I love the ooohs and aaahs. That Tinkerbell
really knows what she's doing! You can watch the fireworks from just about
anywhere in the park, but Main Street gives a great view. Lasts for 7
minutes.

SHOW " Sword
in the Stone" - Castle Courtyard in Fantasyland " Come and listen to
the legend of King Arthur in the Castle Courtyard." More of a piece of 15
minute street theatre than a fully-fledged show. Fun all the
same.

SHOW
"
Disney's Bonfire Spectacular" Haven't got too much information about
this, but it should be good. It will take place, probably annually, on November
2nd, 4th and 6th (these are the dates for 1998). The press releases describe it
as " A firework extravaganza with parties, street entertainers and live
music. A winter celebration for Bonfire Night!" Great, can't wait too see
it. Does strike me as odd that they're celebrating a strangely English
tradition though......this can only be good news! I'll post some pictures on
this site after the event.

SHOW
"
Rosie and the Rebels" - A 30 minute dinner show
(not Mondays or Thursdays) in the Lucky Nugget Saloon in Frontierland.
"
The sun shines down on the Lucky Nugget Saloon where Rosie and the Rebels
blossom into a full bouquet of country music, dance and song for your
enjoyment."
You're advised to book in advance if you can. There's a lot of
whoopin' and hollerin' and can-can dancin'. You'll enjoy it.

SHOW
"
En Scène, s'il-vous plaît !" -
Presented at the Fantasy Festival Stage in Fantasyland. " The Disney
characters are putting together a new musical comedy, but an unexpected visit
may disrupt rehearsals....." This is great fun for kids, but get there
early for this 30 minute show and sit close to the front. During most of the
year, the show runs every day, for or five times check your map for exact
times as they change frequently.

SHOW
"
Disney Classics: The Music and The Magic" - In
the Videopolis in Discoveryland every day - check your map for times. " In
a dazzling whirlwind of music and magic, we invite you to celebrate the most
beautiful love stories on the great Disney Classics and to discover the
fabulous adventure of the Hunchback of Notre Dame." Each of this show's 30
minutes are packed to the edges with Disney Magic produced the way only Disney
know how. Be sure to put it on your schedule and get there early for a good
seat (there's plenty of seating though, and you can sit up in the restaurant
section if you want to eat as you watch - a little further away, but still a
good view).

|
PARADE " The
California Dream Parade" - Runs annually from the end of August to the end
of September (on selected days) on a route from Main Street to Discoveryland
taking around 15 minutes to pass. " The Parade features cool cars and our
California Stars. Follow the parade into Discoveryland and start your
California Dream!" An odd and un-Disney parade which is fine to watch but
lacks that fairy dust. Don't worry too much if you miss it.

|
PARADE
"
Hercules Happening" - A short (10 minute) parade running from Main
Street up to Fantasyland on weekdays during high season (low season
presentation not yet confirmed). " Hercules' work is far from over! Come
and see our hero and the film characters in a mythical comedy, parade to the
rhythm of " Zero To Hero" and " A Star Is Born!" . It's fun,
but it seems to finish just as it gets going!
|
 |
 |
|
PARADE
"
Christmas Parade" (" Parade Nöel" ) - This parade runs
at Christmas only (second week of November to the second week of January - or
thereabouts), and replaces the current daily parade for the season. Disney
Christmas Parades are the only thing can even comes close to getting me into
the spirit of Christmas. Now THAT'S an achievement. They always feature the
Christmas tree lighting-up ceremony, real reindeer and, of course, the REAL
Santa Claus. Miss this parade at your peril! -)

 |
 |
|
PARADE " The
Wonderful World of Disney Parade" Currently the main Disneyland Paris
Parade, and it's not at all disappointing. " All the characters from the
great Disney Classics invite you to share the magic of this parade in which the
music, costumes and dancers will carry you to the world of animated films.
watch out, you may find yourself in the heart of the action!!!! - Yup,
continuing the recent tradition of 'guest participation', you could well end up
in everybody's holiday snaps. A parade well worthy of the Disney stamp of
approval.
|
 |
 |
|
PARADE " The
Main Street Electrical Parade" - Presented every night during high season
only. " A sparkling musical fantasy lights up the Theme Park."
Complete with the Blue Fairy and the Baroque Hoedown, Paris is the place to
find the late lamented 'MSEP', which has defected from Disneyland, California
after it ran there from 1972 to 1996. Don't miss it.
|
 |
 |
|
PARADE
"
Mulan's Chinese Carnival" Takes over as the main parade after the
Christmas Parade is mothballed on January 11th 1999 (scheduled to run until
28th March 1999).
