| International Gateway |
|
This is an entrance to Epcot
that is used only by guests at the Boardwark Inn, the Yacht and beach Club and
the Swan and Dolphin Hotels. There is one shop here, 'World Traveller' a fairly
large store, which sells general Disney items and Epcot souvenirs. This is also
the place to rent wheelchairs and ECV's.

| Showcase Plaza |
|
Basically, Showcase Plaza is
just two shop and a snack store. It's one of the best places to view
Illuminations each night. The two shops are loacted in Plaza Towers. The first,
Disney Traders, is a general Disney souvenir store with a distincltly
international flavor. The second, Port of Call, which sell international
giftware (just in case you forgot to get something on your way around World
Showcase). The Refreshment Port sells frozen yogurt and fruit. You can pick up
one of the 'Friendships' here these are the boats which depart every few
minutes and take you across the lagoon to Morocco, Germany and
Italy.

| Epcot Outpost |
|
Situated between China and
Germany, this is a small area with an African feel. This should have been the
Africa Pavilion but, when plans for Animal Kingdom were confirmed, the idea was
shelved. What's left is an area full of African plants and bamboo fencing. Here
you'll find Village Traders, a shop which sells African and Indian-themed gifts
and souvenirs. There's also Refreshment Outpost for yogurt, cookies and Jamaica
patties. What an interesting meal those three would make!
