Parades and Fireworks

Fantasmic! This is Disney's best ever park production. It debuted in Disneyland (California) in May 1992, and became the biggest and most popular show there EVER! Now it's here at Walt Disney World. This is a slightly updated version which includes a Pocahontas section - Pocahontas wasn't released in time for inclusion in the original Fantasmic! Florida's version of Fantasmic!, while completely stunning, doesn't make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up like the original version, but still you really mustn't miss this. The show is presented in a purpose built " aquadrome" . A theater whose stage is on the water. Even though the theater accomodates squillions of people, you'll need to be there AT LEAST an hour (preferably 90 minutes) before the show. If you're early, you'll get a good seat, and you'll be able to enjoy really great live pre-show entertainment.

Disney's Mulan Parade - We get the chance to join Mushu, Mulan, Shan-Yu etc. in Disney's current daily parade along Hollywood Boulevard. The units are opulently designed you won't feel short-changed with this parade. No evidence of cost-cutting here. It's certainly a great one - one of those now common parades which stops mid-way to have fun with the guests in the line of fire. It's a tradition that seemed to start with the 25th Anniversary Parade in the Magic Kingdom, and it's been going strong ever since. The kids love it, and if you're not shy, you will too!
