I know that it's probably wrong to have favourites but, what the hell. This entire site is really just my opinions, so I don't care. This is a fabulous hotel, especially if you like eating. It's opulent and classy (you can see your reflection on the highly polished marble floor), and the staff couldn't be more helpful. This is the hotel where you'll find the handful of Westerners that stay in Maihama (mostly on business - surprisingly, hardly any Westerners are there for Disneyland. Maybe that's why I always feel so well looked after at Tokyo Disneyland?!) Every evening, you'll be welcomed into the foyer by Japanese hostesses wearing traditional Japanese kimonos. On the top floor is the " Top of the World" , one of those laid back cocktail bars that you see film stars frequenting in hundreds of 1980's movies. There are eight excellent restaurants here and even a small shopping mall. The room prices here are generally a little higher than in some of the other hotels, but the difference negligible really, especially if you're only staying for a few nights. If you can afford it, please stay here! (You can take me with you if you need company!)
