By Plane - here's some information to help you once you've arrived.....
Getting from OIA (Orlando International Airport) to Walt Disney World is really very easy indeed. Here are just a few options:

TAXI - Outside the baggage handling area is the Taxi service. Cabs/vans arrive and take guests as they come in...so no telling what " company" you will get. Groups of 4 or more may get a taxi van. The price is the same for 2 adults as it is for 4 approximately $50 one way for the ride (plus gratuity) to a Disney Property Hotel.

MEARS - $25/adult/roundtrip and $17/Child Ages 4-11. (Disney sometimes includes a $3-off discount coupon with your reservation confirmation - it's that yellow slip of paper that they put in the envelope). The vehicle is either a van or bus and will take passengers to the WDW resort hotels. Your Mears transportation vehicle will in all probability contains guests headed for different " Disney" hotels - so be prepared for a non-direct journey. You will, however, be taken to the hotel you are staying at. You will need to make reservations for your return trip. Again, because the van/bus may go to several hotels, soyou will need to allow sufficient time to get to the airport. Mears Shuttle Booth
Locations:
Baggage Claim Level *A* Terminal - Exit through the doors in front of baggage claim carousel #6
Baggage Claim Level *B* Terminal - Exit through the doors in front of baggage claim carousel #6 OR baggage claim carousel #12. Mears take credit cards and their phone number is: (407) 423-5566. Be sure to make your return reservations at least 24 hours in advance!

RENTAL CARS - The car rental companies located at the Orlando airport continues to change. There are now just a few located directly at the airport itself. Others require a shuttle bus ride to reach the rental office and rental cars. There is also an additional 8.64% airport tax added to your bill if you rent from an Airport branch.

Getting To Walt Disney World by Train.......

You can make make reservations by calling 1-800-USARAIL, or visit AMTRAK's web site. When calling, be sure to have your travel dates. Try to be flexible on the dates by a day or two, and you may be able to get better rates. The further in advance you are able to book, the cheaper your tickets will be - just like air tickets.

There are two trains stations convenient to WDW - Orlando and Kissimee. Both train stops offer similar services:
Orlando Station: Taxi service and rental services are available here. Hertz used to pick up their customers in a van, but now they pay reasonable taxi fares from the train station to their rental yard. It's best to talk to the rental company on their policy. Parking is limited.
Kissimee Station: Taxi service and rental services are available here. Dollar rental will pick you up and take you to their rental outlet on route 192. You must make arrangements with Dollar prior to your arrival. Make note of their telephone number so you can call them on your arrival. You will avoid paying airport taxes by getting your car here. The Dollar outlet is very small, choices of cars are limited, and you must make reservations prior to arrival. Taxis to WDW are cheaper from Kissimee Station, but the terminal is very small and in a poor state of repair.
