Astro Orbitor - Take your
seat aboard one of the Astro Orbitor's pods and fly high over Tomorrowland for
some fabulous views on this fairground-type attraction. |

The ExtraTERRORestrial
Alien Encounter - After you've seen the pre-show, you be led away to witness an
amazing experiment. However, the experiment goes frighteningly wrong - it's
something you'll never forget. Probably not suitable for real young children,
or those who are lily-livered scaredy-cats. Be brave, get in line for Alien
Encounter, you'll be talking about it for days! |

Tomorrowland Indy Speedway
- Drive your car around the large Tomorrowland track. Refurbished recently and
looking good. |
 |

|
Space Mountain - Board a
rocket through space on this high-speed dark roller-coaster attraction. It's a
great ride, but if you've been on Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris, you'll be
disappointed. This one's a bit of a bone-shaker......especially if you're
riding in back. It's still great for what it is.

The Timekeeper - 360°
cinema is the order of the day here as Jules Verne and the Timekeeper take you
up and away on a trip through time.

Walt Disney's Carousel of
Progress - The ever-popular Carousel of Progress revolves on and on. Deservedly
the most visited comedy-musical show in American history (well, it had a bit of
head start getting off the ground in 1964 at the World's Fair in NYC before
moving to Disney World in 1974). You'll come out out singing the famous
" ....there's a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the......." - oh dear,
I'm off again! |
 |

|
|
Tomorrowland Arcade - The
arcade is full of the latest game machines. I still think that this kind of
attraction, available out on the streets of the real world, really shouldn't
have a place in what is, after all, The Magic Kingdom. |

Tomorrowland Transit
Authority - A gentle ride around a specially built Tomorrowland track. Used to
be called the Peoplemover and has changed in name only. This attraction's a
real break for tired legs, and it's one of the few opportunities to see Walt's
model of his utopian town. It's one of the few things at Walt touched himself
(he died in 1966, and WDW didn't open until 1972). The model must have taken
ages to build it's really what he wanted EPCOT originally to be, but for all
sorts of reasons, it wasn't meant to be. |

Buzz Lightyear's Space
Ranger Spin - Enter the playful world of Toys where you join Buzz Lightyear on
a daring mission to save the universe. Piloting your own XP-38 Space Cruisers,
you spin though various scenes scaled to the size of toys. Vehicles are fitted
with a joystick steering mechanism and twin laser cannons. It's an interactive
outer space adventure taking kids of all ages " To infinity and beyond!" ....or
so the official literature says. Actually you sit in the spaceship and get the
chance to fire at anything that moves. It's fun, popular, and definitely better
than the " Take Flight" attraction that was in its' place before (if you ever
had the pleasure of Take Flight, you may recognise the " sky tunnel"
section!). |

RESTAURANTS AND REFRESHMENTS
- Cosmic Ray's Starlight
Café - Cheese-burgers (including vegetarian), rotisserie chicken,
soups, sandwiches and salads. And non-stop entertainment - if no human talent
is available, an animatronic Cosmic Ray himself will perform for us in his very
own inimitable style. Interestingly, Cosmic Ray's is the second busiest fast
food restaurant in the whole world! (The busiest is MacDonald's in
Moscow).
- The Plaza Pavilion - Pizza,
fried chicken and salads.
- Auntie Gravity's Galactic
Goodies - Soft-serve ice cream, smoothies and fruit juices.
- The Lunching Pad at Rockettower
Plaza - Snacks, smoked turkey legs and beverages.
