World Showcase
Eleven countries of the world are neatly gathered around the World Showcase Lagoon. Each of these 'pavilions' is meant to represent the essence of their country, and whilst accurate and well researched, it's a very 'Disney' opinion. And that's what makes it so great. Each country has its own shops and restaurants and most countries have their own attractions too. Each of the countries is staffed mostly by nationals from that country working on cultural exchange programmes. How much more authentic could you get? (Expeciting Disney to provide continuous torrential rain for the United Kingdom or snow for Norway in 90° Florida sunshine would be expecting a bit too much!). You'll also find other areas like International Gateway, Outpost and Showcase Plaza within Epcot's World Showcase. Just click on the " Other Areas" link if you want to find out about those places.
